Don’t miss the Fort Custer Stampede on Sunday, May 6th, 2018! This mountain bike race is a Southwest Michigan Mountain Bike Association event. Proceeds assist SWMMBA in building and maintain trails in southwest Michigan.

Fort Custer Trail Day #3

Meet-up location and specific work detail for each date TBD.

Major projects will include:
Red Trail between intersections 6, and 7 and 16 and 17 (Crazy Beaver) for necessary improvements/reconfiguration to the fall line switchbacks to eliminate erosion issues and sand pits at lowest elevation points.
Green Trail between intersections 5 and 6 for revision to boardwalk/planking in the Gullies area to optimize bi-directional flow and necessary reroutes to reduce/eliminate sand pit formation, e.g. between Switchback and Gullies areas.
